About Us

The home away from home you get homesick for.

Who we are has everything to do with where we are. We opened our cabins in the Paradise Valley for two reasons: because the mountain air and friendly demeanor felt like home to us, and because we wanted to share that immediate sense of belonging with other travelers.

Yellowstone Valley Lodge started out in the 1940's as a motor court for road-weary travelers driving on Highway 89 between Livingston and Yellowstone National Park. Today the guest ranch continues that tradition, providing a peaceful resting spot along the banks of the Yellowstone River.

Our goal is give every guest their own slice of the Paradise Valley. The rooms feature paintings by local artists, pillow-top beds from a local home store, and patios meant to highlight mountain-top-to-valley-floor views. Our staff's real calling is introducing guests to the area's adventure opportunities, from fishing, rafting, floating, hiking, and horseback riding to fine dining! We bring the valley to the table: at the Yellowstone Valley Grill, Chef Marcos Mustain incorporates seasonally-selected, fresh local ingredients into his repertoire.
