Accommodations

Yellowstone Valley LodgeThe Lodge is situated in Paradise Valley with an incredible view of the western edge of the Absaroka mountain range.  From your cabin's semi-private patio you look over the Yellowstone River in the shadow of Dexter Point (elevation 9,859 feet). The cabins are spacious with two queen beds, a sitting area, full bath, private deck, and an ice chest for your convenience.

Dining at YVL

Breakfast at the Paradise Valley Grill will be served continental style for our guests only. Consisting of daily homemade pastries, assorted yogurts and granola, fresh fruit and berry tray, cereals, and your choice of coffee, tea, and juices. Our angling guests are met by their guide at The Cutthroat Lounge and most days you are on your way fishing by 8:30 a.m.  Breakfast is served until 9 a.m., which gives you plenty of time for a later departure if that's your choice.   If you are "up and at 'em" it is no problem to depart before 8:30, but we do like to plan ahead, so please let us know the night before.

Complete box lunches are packed for you in an ice cooler with plenty of water and soft drinks.  The lunches are prepared for you and your guide to take on that days' adventure wherever you may go; by boat, boot, or hoof.  If you are having a day off from fishing, you can enjoy lunch at your leisure at your cabin, or take them with you on your trip to town or sporting clays shoot.

After you've returned from fishing and had time to relax, you'll be welcomed to our Cutthroat Lounge, which features keg beer for fishing clients and guides and a well stocked array of bottled beer, wine by the bottle, soft drinks and mixers (as we don't have a liquor license you are most welcome to bring your own spirits). Alcoholic beverages are not included in package pricing.

Yellowstone Valley LodgeOnce you're ready for dinner you'll have the choice of dining "al fresco" (weather permitting) or in our dining area complete with a view of the river, mountains and our collection of local artwork. Our head Chef, Josh Pastrama, starts with the freshest ingredients, with most produce coming from a local organic farm.  He then employs his considerable culinary talent and creativity to serve memorable meals.  Our repeat guests often comment that they have to come all the way to the Montana for the finest food they know, but considering the quality of the setting, and the quality of the fishing, they are happy to do so.

Dining at YVL is a festive and casual event.  If you like to dress for dinner please do, but you are also welcome to come in right off the river.  The Lounge opens at 5:30 and dinner can be served as early as 6.  Generally our guests dine between 7 and 8, however we make that decision according to your needs and the atmosphere that night.  If you are out fishing past dark or can't get to YVL until late because of your flight, it is no problem, dinner will be saved and ready for you in your cabin. The Paradise Valley Grill is closed to the General Public on Mondays.

We are adept at catering to special dietary concerns, whatever they may be, just let us know as we'll be happy to accommodate your needs.
